Call for pHealth 2015 Student Poster Contest

In addition to the Call for Scientific Papers, pHealth 2015 offers an opportunity for young researchers to present and discuss their work internationally within the pHealth 2015 Student Poster Contest.

 

Application for the Student Poster Contest by submitting a Student Poster Contest paper

In order to qualify for the contest, students have to submit a paper. The paper must be structured as follows: Title, name, and affiliation (organization, city, state, and country) of all authors, abstract (up to 200 words), 4-6 key- words, and text body. The body of the text shall include: Introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusions and references. The length of a paper is to two A4 camera-ready pages, strictly following the formatting rules of the provided IOS Press template.

 

Topics of interest for the Student Poster Contest include but are not limited to:

  • Wearable and implantable devices and systems
  • Solutions for personalized care
  • Data and Knowledge Management and Methodologies
  • Interoperable ICT and Telemedicine
  • mHealth Applications
  • Security, Privacy, Safety and Ethics in pHealth

Please submit the paper electronically in pdf format to mobyen.ahmed@mdh.se. The deadlines listed below are mandatory. The papers will be reviewed by a jury, and the authors will be notified about acceptance for the contest. The main author must present the poster in person.

 

Poster format and poster session at the conference

The mandatory poster format is A1, portrait. The authors will produce and print their posters and take them to the conference themselves. The main authors of Student Contest posters present their posters in a 3-5 minute “lightning talk” within the moderated Poster Session of the conference.
